UCSF Mission Bay hospital has 27 robots roaming the the hallways. They deliver stuff. Like meds from pharmacy to to nurses, linen, organs. Actually, Glen-the-robot-guy, as they call him there, since he is in charge of the robots, did not specifically mention organs. Or maybe he did, but I think that was a joke. He showed me a picture of one of the robots. It looked a lot like small fridge on wheels. The robots have no hands, yet can call themselves an elevator. They are universally popular around the hospital, though some doctors complain that there are too many robots underfoot.
