Passenger Rebecca, on how coming to boom town SF worked out for her:
Everyone is so smart, it’s unsettling. I thought I had to come here given I am an engineer, but it’s just so crazy here. I feel so intimidated. Everyone went to Stanford or MIT and started a company by 22. I am 25 and all I got is a degree from school no one has heard of and now I am putting in crazy hours at a startup that’s probably not going anywhere—I don’t feel like I am doing enough. I am overwhelmed. She stares at me intensely through her non-ironic Buddy Holly glasses.
The money is OK though, I inquire?
Well, that part is working out just fine, thank you very much.
