“That is a sad, sad sight” I say, pointing towards the wrecking crew busy at work at the old GoodWill flagship store at Mission and Van Ness, cloud of dust hanging overhead. “I know, right?” Says my passenger. “I used to spend every Saturday morning there.” “I know, right?” I am impressed to meet an enthusiast more obsessed with thrift shopping than I am. “I am with you. Why buy new?” I say. “It seems like a bad use of resources.” “Exactly. Thrift shopping is a form of recycling.” She says. “That's right! I prefer inhabiting other people’s clothes. After a good landry job, that is” I say. “Exactly!" she says. "Clothes that come with history. Tested by time. I have a friend who thinks wearing second hand clothes is creepy because I could be wearing clothes of dead people. But I don’t mind one bit. I think it kind of honors the dead.” “Right?” I say. “It’s like a form of transplant.” |

Winter is fast approaching, and with it will come the winter holidays. There will be many parties to attend, theatre and music events, and perhaps even other big events such as a wedding. For all of these occasions, the men in your life will need stylish and affordable suits and formalwear in order to be dressed appropriately.
